John Steele is a great collaborator and dependable colleague. He has worked with me as the Director of Corporate Planning at OCC for three years, during which he was instrumental in reworking our annual planning process. He also plays a key role on our team when it comes to financial modeling, and it’s thanks to him that we are able to create and value several business cases.

I have worked with John for the past eight years on the Corporate Finance team at CME Group. John has a deep understanding of, and interest in, capital markets (debt products in particular). He enjoys researching finance topics and financial modeling and looks to fully understand alternatives and their respective costs and benefits before making recommendations. He builds strong working relationships and works collaboratively with colleagues and external subject matter experts including investment bankers and ratings agency analysts to vet new ideas.

I have had the privilege to work with John on many complex transactions over the past ten years at CME. He has extensive knowledge of capital markets, debt/derivative pricing and hedge structuring.
